Nurses’ job satisfaction is a topic of wide interest, because it is an important determinant of their performance and the delivery of health care (1, 2). The job satisfaction has been conceptualised of intrinsic factors including personality, personal achievement, sense of accomplishment, prestige and extrinsic factors likewise working conditions, workload, relationships with colleagues, remuneration, and promotion, recognition and training opportunities (3,4). Studies have provided evidence that job dissatisfaction among nurses has a negative impact on the capacity to meet patient needs and provide quality care (5,6).
